Dario Amodei is an American AI researcher, entrepreneur, and the CEO of Anthropic. I chose him because he works on one of the most important questions of our time: how to make artificial intelligence powerful, but also safe for people.

I admire Dario Amodei because he is not only interested in making AI more powerful. He also thinks about responsibility, safety, and the future of society. I think that this is important because technology should help people, not replace human values.
Dario's father is Tuscan, originally from Massa Marittima, a small town in Tuscany. His mother lived in Rome for several years. His parents met in Italy and then moved to the United States.
Dario Amodei was born in San Francisco, California. From a young age, he was interested in science, physics, and how the world works.
He studied Physics at Stanford University. This helped him build a strong scientific way of thinking.
He completed a PhD in Biophysics at Princeton University. He studied how biological systems and neurons work.
